Setting examples for your children are just as important as losing weight and getting fit. As a community, it’s important that we teach children how to eat better, enjoy sports and physical activity and learn about the benefits of eating vegetables and fruits. We know it’s not always easy, so Lighten Up Calloway hopes to provide you with resources and tools that will help you help your family enjoy a healthy, fun and meaningful life.

YOUTH GARDENS

MSU Arboretum

The Murray State University Arboretum offers a new program for young gardeners. For $5, a 50-foot squared plot will be available, along with a T-shirt, seed packets and a chance to sell produce on specially selected days. For more information, contact Steven Still at sstill@murraystate.edu
